OHV Recreation Organization Development Workshop & “Ride Into Political Action” Seminar

The VT ATV Sportsman’s Association, VT Jeep Association, Cycle Conservation Club of Vermont, American Motorcyclist Association District 1 and the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council will conduct a NOHVCC Association Development Workshop on Saturday, December 8 and an AMA “Ride Into Political Action” Seminar on Sunday, December 9 at the Barre Park and Recreation Department in Barre, Vermont.
The purpose of the workshop and seminar are to bring together Vermont off-highway vehicle interests including off-highway motorcycle, ATV and four-wheel drive enthusiasts and OHV-oriented businesses and to:
• Build the foundation for a statewide Vermont OHV association;
• Establish a structure and process that will improve communication and cooperation between OHV recreation clubs;
• Build a better understanding of land management issues and how to effectively improve and protect responsible OHV opportunities on private and public land; and
• Improve the ability of the Vermont OHV recreation public to participate in and effectively influence political processes.
A registration fee of $15.00 (single day) or $25.00 (two days) will be charged to cover materials, lunches and beverage service throughout the weekend. On-line registration is now open. Advance registration is required.
