The OHMVR Division proposes to install, operate, and maintain meteorological, sand flux (i.e., sand movement), and particulate matter monitoring equipment and dust and track-out control measures primarily in and within the vicinity of Pismo State Beach and Oceano Dunes SVRA in San Luis Obispo (SLO) County. In accordance with CEQA, the OHMVR Division is soliciting comments on the scope and content of the environmental review the OHMVR Division will conduct on its Dust Control Project. Scoping comments must be received by 5 p.m. on January 4, 2013.
