USFS LogoQuincy, CA - Fire restrictions on the Plumas National Forest (public land) have been lifted, effective Friday, October 24, 2014, according to Earl Ford, Forest Supervisor.Campfire permits, required for fires outside of designated recreation sites, are available from Forest Service offices during normal business hours and at URL below.For information about fire restrictions on private land, residents should contact their local California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CALFIRE) or city offices.For more information about fire restrictions, woodcutting and recreation opportunities or to locate local Plumas National Forest offices, visit the Plumas National Forest website.
