Goleta, CA, Apr 27, 2017 - Los Padres National Forest announced the seasonal opening of three roads to public use on the Ojai Ranger District.

The Nordhoff Ridge Road network (5N08), Dough Flat Road (6N16B) and Reyes Peak Road (6N06) are reopening on May 1, 2017.

The public must obtain an entry permit from the Ojai District office to travel the Nordhoff Ridge Road network. A four-wheel drive or high-clearance vehicle is highly recommended for traveling on these roads.

Members of the public are reminded that they should always call ahead to the district office for the latest conditions and consult the National Weather Service for current weather forecasts.
