Quincy, CA – February 21, 2017 – Plumas National Forest law enforcement officers will be seeking public comments soon on their proposal for the 2017/2018 California Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) grant program. The grant would provide for public education, special off-highway event support and patrol operations for trails and facilities associated with the PNF recreational off-highway vehicle program.

People may provide feedback & comment on the draft grant proposal to be posted on the State Parks website starting March 7th through April 3rd, 2017. Look for a link labeled “Preliminary Applications.” The link is typically not available until the comment period begins (March 7th.)  Final applications are due to the State of California on May 1st, 2017.
