California State Parks has started a public process to update the General Plan for Hungry Valley State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA). The General Plan Update will provide a comprehensive management plan that will guide the future of Hungry Valley SVRA for the next 20 to 30 years. The General Plan is important to the future of Hungry Valley SVRA and California State Parks wants to hear from you!

Stakeholder Meetings Guiding Questions

  • In what ways is your agency or organization involved with HV SVRA?

  • How often do members of your group go to HV SVRA? And where do they come from? (If applicable)

  • What do you think are the best features of HV SVRA? Why?

  • What concerns do you have about HV SVRA? Are there problems that need to be addressed?

  • What could be improved? (What issues should be considered as a part of the General Plan update process?) Why?

  • What additional facilities and amenities are needed?

  • Are there resources or publications that the project team should review during the General Plan update process?

  • Is there anything else that is important for the project team to know?
